Extreme Cowboy Alberta
Extreme Cowboy Alberta is committed to offering and providing a fun, safe, equine sport for the whole family. Our western spirit will encourage, respect, and support all rider levels.

Cochrane BMX Association
The Cochrane BMX Association has constructed a world class 1200 foot (365 meter) paved racetrack on the northeast corner of the Ag Society Park.
Cochrane BMX Association is a family friendly community of people who like to ride bikes by providing leadership in the promotion of cycling and the sport of BMX racing. Cochrane Horse Trials Committee
The Cochrane Horse Trials Committee is responsible for maintaining and upgrading the first-class cross-country course on the Cochrane & District Agricultural Society (CDAS) grounds. Recent improvements have been designed and built by Barry Tyerman, certified course designer and technical delegate.
The Cochrane Horse Trials Committee also organize and host an annual Eventing Competition at CDAS, and promote the sport of Eventing by encouraging use of the cross- country course by other equestrians as well as hosting clinics for riders at all levels. Cochrane Pony Club
The Cochrane Pony Club has been part of the Cochrane & District Ag Society for more than 30 years. The group provides lessons and riding camps for their members throughout the year. It has a place for competitive and recreational riders. You can decide whether you would like to go through all the testing levels, compete in horse shows and pursue a career in the horse industry or you can join just to learn more about your horse and enjoy time with like-minded people.

Cochrane Roping Club
The Cochrane Roping Club is a fun, roping oriented club located in Cochrane, Alberta. It doesn’t matter if you are a beginner or a seasoned roper, the Cochrane Roping Club accommodates all skill levels and has a variety of programs to offer everyone.

Cochrane Search and Rescue
Cochrane Search and Rescue Association is a charity that saves lives. They provide on-call professional dedicated search and rescue Volunteers 24/7.
Utilizing the CDAS grounds for vehicles and equipment storage, event preparation and training, the Cochrane Search and Rescue Association are able to have deployable resources ready any minute of any day to respond to the needs of our community, our tasking agencies. Bike Cochrane
Bike Cochrane’s mission is to serve Cochrane through the promotion of, and advocacy for, Cycling in our community for all ages.
Their vision is to develop a cycling-friendly culture in Cochrane through the implementation of safe infrastructure for transportation, recreation and competition. They participate regularly as a recognized stakeholder group in road and community planning, park (re)development, construction projects and area transportation plans, work with public and private land owners and managers to allow public cycling trails and assist in providing and maintaining access to cycle pathways, trails and facilities, for use by the public. The west end of the Cochrane & District Ag Society grounds are home to our user group Bike Cochrane and their extensive 4.3 km mountain bike trail system.
