What we do:
  • Maintain and upgrade the first-class cross-country course on the Cochrane & District Agricultural Society (CDAS) grounds. Recent improvements have been designed and built by Barry Tyerman, certified course designer and technical delegate.
  • Organize Eventing competition on the (CDAS) grounds.
  • Promote the sport of Eventing by encouraging use of the cross- country course by  other equestrians as well as hosting clinics for riders at all levels.
What is Eventing:
Eventing combines three different riding events: dressage, cross-country  jumping over a course of solid jumps at high speed, and show  jumping. The sport requires all-around athletic performance from horse and rider and is a complete  test of their partnership and trust.
