Liberty Clinic with Carola Sossdorf of ProHorse Training
September 19th-20th, 2026 at the Indoor Arena We call it a clinic, but it's so much more -- it's a weekend of discovery, fun, learning, and inspiration where you'll experience connection, science, and freedom with your horse. During the two days, you'll uncover a whole new way to be with your horse. Learn how to interact at liberty—where there's no ropes and no force—just true, willing connection where your horse will want to be with you. Carola Sossdorf is the head trainer and founder of ProHorse Training. She began riding at age seven—starting in dressage and jumping before transitioning to western. As a teenager, she discovered liberty training while working with a challenging mare, which sparked her lifelong passion for understanding horses on a deeper level. She worked closely with experienced trainers in liberty and natural horsemanship, gaining experience starting young horses and working with problem horses, including Pro Ride Horsemanship in Germany, whose influence remains a key part of her work today. Her training style is rooted in the science of how horses think and learn, combined with years of hands-on experience and the lessons horses themselves teach. Whether you’re brand new to liberty work or looking to go deeper, you’ll leave with real skills, new insights, and a stronger bond with your horse.
