Gymkhana Indoor Spring Series - ALL AGES!!!
May 24th, 2026
The new CDAS Gymkhana program is in full swing for 2026. We will be hosting an indoor Spring Gymkhana Series this year, with four events scheduled Sundays March 1st, March 29th, April 18th and May 24th.

Offering various events including Barrel Racing, Pole Bending, Dummy Roping, Fun Races, & More! Seven different events in six divisions (including new 18+ and 40+ divisions), with prizes, ribbons for 1st through 6th, plus Division Champ and Reserve Champ prizes. Series prizes awarded at the final show, for high point across all three events.

CDAS Obstacle Playday
Sunday May 10th (Mother's Day Ride)
To promote horsemanship and give riders extra opportunities to gain experience, the Cochrane & District Ag Society will be hosting a series of open ride obstacle playdays. We have 4 more Playdays scheduled at our indoor arena over the next few months, including a Mother's Day Ride Playday!

There are four open ride time slots starting at 8:30am, all with custom made cowboy obstacles. Get some extra time in the saddle before your next cowboy challenge! Spectators welcome.

Wendy Johnston Ranch Horse Versatility Clinic
April 25th-26th, 2026 - ONLY 2 SPOTS REMAINING
With over 35 years of experience providing both institutional and private coaching services, Wendy has taught thousands of clients, sharing her knowledge and passion for equestrian sport. Her qualifications include a current General Performance Judging card, High-Performance Western Coach Certification, and English Coach Certification, highlighting her comprehensive understanding and capability across different equestrian disciplines.

Her recent focus has been on teaching clinics and lessons, particularly in the areas of Ranch Versatility, Ranch Riding, and Ranch Trail. Wendy is deeply committed to the care and management of the horses in her program, emphasizing the importance of excellent care practices.

Tuesday Nights
PawzTracks will introduce you to a dog sport that will help develop a working relationship between you and your canine companion. All instructors are chosen for their knowledge, experience, and accomplishments in their field of dog sports.

Once again returning to the Ag Grounds in 2026 is CSCC Rally Racing! Timed solo runs on our main parking lot, open to spectators! Check out some up-and-coming drivers, or join in as a hobbyist yourself!
