chtaWhat we do:

  • Organize a three phase event on the Cochrane & District Agricultural Society (CDAS) grounds.
  • Maintain and upgrade the first-class cross-country course on the CDAS grounds. Recent improvements have been designed and built by Steve Buckman, certified course designer and technical delegate.
  • Promote the sport of three-phase eventing by encouraging use of the cross- country course by CDAS affiliated Pony Clubs and other equestrians.

chtaWhat is Three-Phase Eventing:

  • Three-Phase Eventing combines three different riding events: dressage, cross-country jumping over a course of solid jumps at high speed, and show jumping. The sport requires all-around athletic performance from horse and rider and is the most complete test of their partnership and trust.
